Ocean Park Inn

The Hotel was an outstanding surprise. Starting on the check in, we arrived early and reception was able to find an available room. Utilities were beyond expected, from beach towels to purified water, coffee and plug adaptors for those who forget. In terms of noise, the room was sound isolated, which was unexpected since the hotel is situated in a busy road and considering previous reviews. Parking lot has limited room however there is a close by alternative when full. Common space is pleasant and gives you the opportunity for a quiet breakfast/dinner outside. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean and comfortable room. Generally quiet, though the air conditioning unit was noisy when it was on its defrosting (or whatever) cycle, which was about every 20 minutes, so we had to switch it off. Nice little courtyard space to eat our breakfast, which we bought from Gelson's across the road (expensive, but classy supermarket). Location is a 30-40 minute walk to the sea front.

I really like the place. It was nice, chill vibe, a cozy like apartment style with neighbors. Its not all lavish or fancy, just clean, basically quiet and the essential needs. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 on service is because the office closes and if you lose your key or if something is of need you have to wait until the next day.. that is scary because what if on the beach something happen to our card keys or they had a malfunction, its like being on a curfew without being on one. I loved the place over all, and will definitely reserve again if I want something nice and quaint again.

Neat little place. I stayed just one night but it was clean, quiet, and close to the pier. Check in was quick. Parking is a little cramped but made it work. I would definitely stay again.

The room was just fine, about what we expected. We have stayed near an LA area beach many times. You know well how challenging parking can be. So we now give preference to hotels that have onsite parking. My only issue with you was your parking was limited, not enough spots if your rooms are all taken. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

The room was fine Road noise not bad. First night we slept well but second night, next door talking at 3-4am as if they were in our room not really acceptable in this day and age..

Great bang for bucks hotel to visit Los Angeles. Expect no high class, but you get great value for your money. Hosts are very nice and will help you out with every question you have. You can get good, free coffee at the reception. Beds are perfectly fine for a good night sleep. Location is perfect and the walking distance to the beach is ideal (20 minutes). Bathroom is a bit outdated, but clean. Also be sure to ask for a room at the backside of the hotel, because the highway at the front can be noisy. At last, there is free parking, which is good. But there is not enough space for all rooms. Overnight street parking next door is free though, so just replace your car to the provided hotel parking the next morning when other hotel guest left.

One of the closest hotels you can get to the beach/pier without spending a ton of money - the location was pretty central to everything fun in Santa Monica. The room was nothing special, but the bed was clean and comfortable, the shower ran well, and there was a fridge in the room. Plus ac that actually ran super cold, which I like. They were very stingy with the toilet paper, though. The major downfall we found was the parking. It's free, but during peak season like mid summer, it's very hard to secure a spot. There are only about 9 spaces, which are all slanted so that they're easy to get in to and hard to get out of and to the street from. There were a couple nights when we had to park on the street or park in spots we technically weren't allowed to. Overall no real complaints, just the parking was a tad frustrating.

This is an affordable option in the area. Place is clean but at night, traffic can be heard from our room, which was room 12. If you cannot sleep with noise, ear plugs are provided in the room. Also, the main courtyard has lights on during the night for security, so there is some light in the background which the blinds can block only so much.

Great place to stay. Very central to everything I wanted to do and I was able to avoid traffic. Great location, friendly staff and the water gets HOT! We loved it here and will be back everytime we stay in Cali!
